Women in Agriculture (WIA) distribute summer vegetable seeds and agricultural tools to Pangmong SHG.
On 16th May 2025, a visit was conducted to Totok Chingnyu village under the Women in Agriculture (WIA) initiative, focusing on supporting the Pangmong Self Help Group (SHG). The program aimed at empowering women farmers by distributing summer vegetable seeds and essential agricultural tools. A technical session was conducted by Dr. Watisenla Imsong (A.I) and Miss Arennungla Jamir (A.I) providing practical advice on pest management and shared best practices for protecting crops. This was followed by a fruitful discussion with the SHG members on expanding agricultural activities and improving productivity. The distribution of essential agricultural tools and summer vegetable seeds marked a step forward in supporting rural women farmers, enabling them to enhance their livelihoods through sustainable practices.
