WOMEN IN AGRICULTURE
‘Women in Agriculture’ an ongoing programme under CSS during the 10th Plan and subsequently taken over by the State Plan during the 11th five year plan as per GOI directive could not be continued consecutively for the last three years from 2013-14 to 2015-16 due to non availability of State Plan Fund. However, the scheme being a special programme for empowerment of farm women which was implemented successfully over the past is now taken up by the department under RKVY during 2016-17.
