SEED PRODUCTION PROGRAMME (RKVY)
Seed Production has been one of the prioritized sectors of the department. With inception of RKVY programme, seed production programme is being carried out in all the areas under RKVY projects. This programme is implemented both in Kharif and Rabi season. During 2016-17, 87.5 MT of certified potato has been distributed covering an area of 35 ha. with an anticipated production of 245 MT. 30 Nos. of trainings on Seed Production Technique have been conducted in all the seed production areas.
