District Agriculture Office (DAO) Mon, Nagaland Organized Five-Day Farmers’ Exposure Tour To Meghalaya 28th April – 2nd May 2025 Under: RKVY 3rd Installment, 2024–25 (CS)

The tour was aimed at educating farmers by exposing them to modern and scientific agricultural practices, integrated farming systems and innovations in crop and livestock management to improve productivity and sustainability.

The delegation comprised of nine progressive farmers and four agricultural staff members from DAO, Mon. The tour was led by Ms. Arennungla Jamir (Agriculture Inspector, Mon) and Dr. Watisenla Imsong (Agriculture Inspector, Mon) and was coordinated in collaboration with Mr. Swaroop Sharma, Chief Technical Officer, DTAC, ICAR Research Complex, Umiam, Meghalaya.
